New Stills from Family By Choice Showcase Hwang In Yeop, Jung Chaewon, and Bae Hyun Sung

On August 7, JTBC revealed new stills from their upcoming drama Family By Choice, featuring Hwang In Yeop, Jung Chaewon, and Bae Hyun Sung. The coming-of-age series, which explores themes of chosen families and shared experiences, is set to premiere in the fall of 2024. 

The newly released images capture the cast in moments of joy and nostalgia, highlighting their bright smiles and youthful energy. Initially slated for an August release, the drama will now debut later in the year. With the talented cast and the director of Twenty-Five, Twenty-One at the helm, anticipation is high for this fresh take on friendship, love, and growing up. Check out the latest stills below.

Family By Choice will consist of 16 episodes, airing every Wednesday and Thursday.

The drama centers on three teenagers who, though not biologically related, share a deep bond. They have supported each other through family issues, personal struggles, and traumas, navigating their school lives together as each other's pillar of strength.

Adapted from the 2020 Chinese drama Go Ahead, this series is directed by Kim Seung Ho, known for his work on Joseon Attorney: A Morality and Twenty-Five, Twenty-One. 

Hwang In Yeop is recognized for his performances in The Sound of Magic and True Beauty. Jung Chaeyeon has featured in dramas such as The Golden Spoon and The King's Affection. Bae Hyun Sung is known for his roles in Hospital Playlist and Our Blues. Additionally, Seo Ji Hye, Choi Won Young, and Choi Moo Sung play significant roles in the drama.
